Select (or type in) a user ID and password to log on to the system.
Tip: You can set a default log-on user in the user screen (control panel > system maintenance > users). If that user does not have a password, the log-on screen is bypassed and the control panel started directly. Tip: Up to five screens can be set to start automatically whenever a particular user logs on. See the user screen (control panel > system maintenance > users).

password
Enter the user password here. N.B. passwords are case-sensitive!
The user password is set in the user screen (control panel > system maintenance > users), and can also be left empty.
Passwords can only be changed by the users themselves and by user MANAGER. They are stored using a one-way encryption system, which means that it is IMPOSSIBLE to retrieve a lost password from the database (even for us!). If you lose your password you will not be able to log on until a new password has been assigned by user MANAGER. If you lose the password for user MANAGER, then you have a serious problem!
